Our Service
We offer highly experienced wellsite and operations geologists from pre-spud to post well. Our operations and logistics group will work with you to match the expertise and knowledge of our geologists to your project. HRH can offer a team for the life of the project or provide geologists for specific well phases.
In line with our aim of providing a career and training, junior geologists can be available for back-up at the wellsite, either throughout the well or for particular sections such as coring, geosteering and wireline logging. They will be paired with one of our experts to ensure the quality of our service.
HRH Winlog software for log presentation can be included in our proposal. This will be available preloaded on a wellsite ready, laptop computer along with all other software required for the integration of third party data and the production of logs and reports.
For a complete wellsite service, we can provide portable geological kits including microscope, fluoroscope, sample analysis equipment and consumables.

1. Wellsite Geologists
The HRH team of Wellsite Geologists have knowledge of fields worldwide and extensive experience of drilling operations including challenging High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) wells, long reach horizontal, deep water or sour gas (H2S) wells.
Our wellsite geologists are skilled at delivering all operational responsibilities:
- Liaison between wellsite drilling and geological teams to achieve project goals
- Communication with the company operations and reservoir departments
- Evaluation and description of geological well samples including cuttings, cores and sidewall cores
- Analysis, evaluation and interpretation of gas data and ratio calculations
- Geological and drilling data evaluation
- Advising on formation pore pressure, drilling hazards and bit optimisation
- Production and transmission of daily reports
- Compilation of wellsite lithology log - expert in HRH Winlog software for log construction and visualisation
- Quality Assurance and supervision of geological service companies including mudlogging, LWD and wireline
- Coring, side wall coring and casing point selection
- Liaison between wellsite drilling and geological teams to achieve project goals
- Geosteering supervision and management
- Supervision of geological sample acquisition, storage and despatch
- "Hot shot" sample selection and shipment
